The ICA 2007 includes new provisions which have implications for the regular work of the Organization. Good progress continues to be made on preparations for implementation of the new Agreement. In March 2009, the Council approved terms of reference for ICO bodies (Consultative Forum on Coffee Sector Finance, Private Sector Consultative Board, Promotion and Market Development Committee, Projects Committee, Finance and Administration Committee and Statistics Committee). The Council has also finalized the Rules of the Organization, the Financial Regulations and Financial Rules and Rules on Statistics. A small task force of Members is reviewing key documents including the strategic action plan and the development strategy for coffee which will be presented to the Council for approval in September 2009.
