Useful information

ICO meetings take place at the headquarters of the Organization in London.  The Guide to ICO meetings contains information about hotels and corporate rates for ICO delegates, visas, arrangements for meetings, a map showing the location of the ICO and nearest tube stations and guidelines for presenters.  Documents and the programme are posted on the Documents section of the website (click on "by meetings").

Conference Facilities

The range of conference and meeting facilitiesat 22 Berners Street, in the heart of London's West End and close to Oxford Circus (click here for a map), have been purpose built to meet the needs of an international, intergovernmental organization. The facilities are developed to host a large number of delegations and are therefore suitable for similar (inter)national organizations and companies.

The Council Chamber is equipped for audiovisual presentations and simultaneous interpretation into five different languages.

A comfortable lounge for delegates and press is available and modern communication services are on the premises. 

Our in-house staff can give support in the preparation of, or during, your event including the printing or reproduction of documents.

Council Chamber

The Council Chamber comprises a total seating capacity for 282 delegates, 5 interpretation booths, a control booth for the sound/recording technician and modern audiovisual facilities. All seats are provided with headphones; there are 83 microphones at desks for delegates and special table-arms for writing are provided for observers/advisers and the Secretariat.

The lounge has registration and information desks, coffee bar, documents counter and lockers. There are 4 telephones connected to the Organization's switchboard for the use of delegates and extra communications and PC facilities for the use of the organizers/staff. The lounge also has easy chairs, coffee tables and a cloakroom.
