10th African Fine Coffees (AFCA) Conference and Exhibition

The Executive Director of the ICO, Mr Robério Oliveira Silva, was invited to speak at the opening ceremony of the 10th African Fine Coffees (AFCA) Conference and Exhibition which took place from 14 to 16 February 2013 in Kampala, Uganda. The theme of the Conference was ‘Uganda: Discover a Diversity of Coffees, from the Pearl of Africa’. During his visit to Kampala the Executive Director paid a courtesy visit to the President of Uganda, H.E. Mr. Yoweri Museveni. He also met the Prime Minister, H.E. Mr Amama Mbabazi and the Minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries, Mr. Tress Buchanayandi.
